What the office runs for the constituency beyond the roads and the classrooms: health, farming, tools and relief.
In April 2025 the Chimaobi Sam Atu Foundation, working with the Mercy Hour Foundation, ran a four day free comprehensive medical outreach across the communities of the constituency.
It opened at Obeagu and Amechi Awkunanaw on Thursday 3 April, moved to Iva Valley on the Friday, Akwuke on the Saturday and Ugwuaji on the Sunday, closing on 6 April.
About seven hundred and twenty-three people were attended to. A range of conditions was treated on site and others were referred on. Dr. Emmanuel Nwosu, who led the medical team, reported that the outreach allowed several serious conditions to be caught at an early stage.
The purpose given was to narrow the health gap between the rural and the urban communities of the constituency, and a commitment was made to bring the team back.

Agricultural extension workers are the link between research and the farm. They are also, in most of Nigeria, working without the tools that would let them do the job at any scale.
Under this initiative basic modern productive tools needed for agricultural extension activities were supplied to extension workers across Enugu North and Enugu South Federal Constituency, alongside training in the digital skills required to use them.
Every participant left with a laptop. The training ran on the machines they were given, so that nothing stopped when the hall emptied.

The backbone of a working economy is its small producers. Nine poultry farms were constructed and equipped for rural farmers across selected communities of the constituency.
Each farm was handed over fully stocked with birds, poultry feed, farming tools and veterinary medicines, so the beneficiary could begin operations the same week rather than waiting on further support. Farmers from Obinagu, Ugwuaji, Amechi, Akwuke, GRA and other communities benefited.
The intervention created self-employment, raised food production and lifted household incomes in the communities that took part.

Farmers in the rural parts of the constituency have been supplied with fertiliser and farm implements, distributed across the wards without regard to political affiliation.
It is a plain contribution to food security at the only scale a federal constituency can make one: the farms its own people work.
During the 2024 and 2025 Christmas, Easter and Sallah celebrations more than ten thousand bags of rice were distributed to constituents.
Distribution ran from the constituency office and from visits to markets, churches, mosques and hard-to-reach parts of Enugu urban.
This palliative is for constituents irrespective of party affiliation, religion or social orientation. Politics is over, we are now in governance.
Rt. Hon. Chimaobi Sam Atu

Scholarships are applied for through the application form. For the medical outreach, the farm inputs and the rural enterprise schemes, the constituency office takes names through the ward structure and announces each round in advance.

Three years of representation stand on this website: the bills, the roads, the classrooms, the laboratories, the scholarships and the training. Constituents are asked to judge the work that has already been done.
