Three Hundred And Seventy-One Trained And Given Capital

Between 2024 and 2026, in partnership with Synergy Fields Limited and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, intensive training and empowerment programmes were run for three hundred and seventy-one trainees: SS2 and SS3 students, housewives and fresh school leavers drawn from the public schools and communities of Enugu North and Enugu South.

The hands-on training covered the production and marketing of liquid soap for domestic use, liquid soap for automobiles, germicide and antiseptic. Dr. Clara Ogbebor of Glorious Vision University, Edo State, and Engr. Chris Ugwu of Synergy Fields Limited were among the experts who handled the technical sessions.

At the close of the programme each of the three hundred and seventy-one trainees received startup capital of between fifty thousand and one hundred thousand naira, together with startup materials and chemicals worth one hundred and fifty thousand naira. A mechanism was put in place to follow the progress of each trainee afterwards.

Nigeria must move from consumption to production if the country intends to escape a total collapse.

Ninety Youth Certified As Photovoltaic Installers

Trainees installing solar equipment during the renewable energy programme

In November 2024 an intensive programme for ninety selected young people of the constituency was concluded, covering renewable energy installation, maintenance and marketing.

The training was run in partnership with the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria, NAPTIN, Abuja. At the end of the two week exercise all trainees were issued the Photovoltaic Installer Certificate.

The skill maps directly onto what is already in the constituency: the solar street lights installed across five communities and fifty-two streets need servicing, and households and small businesses across Enugu are moving to solar as the grid falters.

Artificial Intelligence And Digital Skills

Trained On Ethical Artificial Intelligence And Given Laptops

In July 2025 a training and empowerment programme was organised around artificial intelligence and digital soft skills.

The programme was designed to give young people working digital competence, workplace soft skills and a grounding in artificial intelligence, with attention to the ethical questions the technology raises.

Every participant received a new HP laptop running an Intel Core i7 processor, so that the training did not end when the venue emptied.

From An Under 15 Tournament To The Golden Eaglets

The Chimaobi Atu Under 15 tournament has been run in the constituency since 2023 as a grassroots scouting ground rather than a holiday fixture.

David Edeh, who captained the side, and two other players who came through the tournament now wear the colours of Nigeria as members of the Golden Eaglets. The journey from a constituency pitch in Enugu to the national team is the clearest argument there is for keeping the tournament running.

The Record Is The Manifesto

Three years of representation stand on this website: the bills, the roads, the classrooms, the laboratories, the scholarships and the training. Constituents are asked to judge the work that has already been done.
